The Love of Keeping Home

Tis the season
It's time to
decking the halls
&
trim your tree.
Christmas is the most wonderful time
of the year. I love introducing new traditions
to my family. This year I am going to be
away for the majority of the season, but I know
they will gleam to years past
memories.
My Hailey has her
second Violin concert!
I'm so excited for her but
it makes me sad to know I will
miss it. She will be playing jingle
bells and joy to the world. My husband will
be recording it for me though. She is so cute and
all three of my kids bless my heart!
This year, we decorated out home
a week before Thanksgiving. It was my
hubby's idea, but shh...don't tell him I
said so. Our new kitten really likes the
little ornaments dangling from our tree!
I have so much to do
in preparation for Christmas.
Having to be far away, really enables
me from my usual Holiday routine. But I'm
going to make the most of it.
This little cookbook
is filled with wonderful
fun ideas! If you love
to bless your family with baking
than this book will
help with lots of
ideas!
This year Santa sent
a little helper into our home.
His name is Cindle and he keeps his
eye over everyone's behavior.
...I kinda like Cindle.
I'm so excited for
Christmas baking. I love
pulling out my grandmother's
recipes. I feel close to her when
I'm pouring, mixing and baking each
cookie.
It's fun filling the
time worn Christmas tins
with passed home made nostalgia
goodness!
Italian Pizzelle
Little gingerbread cookies
Pretty Pumpkin Pie
Jennifer's delicious sugar cookie recipe!
Aren't they so pretty?
My Audrey is turning 5 this year!
I cannot believe our little
baby is officially
a big girl.
This year, we're celebrating her
birthday with a gingerbread
house decorating party. How fun
will that be?
~Wishing you a wonderful Holiday Season~
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
