The alarm rings. A sour minds wake from the fuzziness of slumber, thoughts of the day come rushing in.

Our day may have some unpleasant talks ahaead, or perhaps our to-do list is so long it makes us tired before we even begin.

In any case, some mornings we'd rather

 stay in bed so we don't have

to face the day at all.

But as Beth Moore states, imagine how different our days would be if we had our cups filled by Christ first thing in the morning!

When Christ fills our cups, he gives us his love, his joy, his peace and patience. We're able to be kind, good, faithful, gentle.

And hey, a little bit of self control

might come in handy at

an opportune moment

as well!
